The project creates the space to expand one of the fastest growing degrees offered at the University, the Natural Science and Nursing program. The building houses wet labs, physics lab, organic chemistry lab, microbiology lab, nursing simulation lab, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) classroom and faculty and administrative offices. The project incorporates the requirements of the Energy Efficiency & Sustainable Construction Act and includes other sustainable concepts. LDDBlueline™ demonstrated to the Client the savings on staffing, security, elevators, etc. to arrange the building as an addition to their existing classroom building instead of designing a separate building which provides useful and economical spaces.
