Go Fish Georgia Visitors’ Center and Hatchery

Tasked with helping the State of Georgia promote recreational fishing and education LDDBlueline™ designed the Visitor Center to raise awareness about the lifecycles of different species of native Georgia fish, and how the natural environment affects them. The building provides an example of environmental sensitivity by maximizing water and energy efficiency which allowed it to achieve LEED® Gold status. The Center includes two small theaters, a classroom, offices, gift shop, exhibit hall, and fish hatchery with work area. An extensive outdoor exhibit area provides examples of Georgia habitats from the coast to the mountains with various fish and reptiles.
